Most installations will be fixed to the wall, using a wall kit or a wall profile. Sails can also be attached to elements that are already present (eg trees or beams). Choosing the size and shape of a sail is a matter of personal taste and desired shade area. The sails are used in winds up to 50 km/h. During stronger winds or heavy rain, the sails must be stowed away. The sails are water repellent but they are not waterproof. For a successful installation, please respect the following 3 rules:

1. The attachment of the sail must always be in the bisector of the angle in order to guarantee optimal tension.
2. It is recommended to put the bindings at least 0.5 m on each side of the sail. Example: A sail with a side of 4 m has attachment points that have moved at least 5 m apart. Exception: a point can be attached directly to the wall without strings.
3. Always plan the possibility of setting the sail at an angle of at least 30° in the event of rain in order to facilitate the evacuation of water.
